Domestic gold prices this morning (March 25) decreased by 200,000-300,000 VND per tael, while the central exchange rate continued to increase sharply by 16 VND.
At 9:00 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji Company and Phu Quy Company all listed the buying and selling prices of SJC gold in the range of 94.90-97.40 million VND/tael, down 200,000 VND/tael.
Similarly, at Phu Quy Company, the listed price of gold rings is from 95.50-98.20 million VND/tael, down 300,000 VND/tael. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the listed price of plain round gold rings is from 95.70-98.40 million VND/tael (buy/sell), down 200,000 VND compared to the previous closing price.
The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also decreased by VND200,000, currently trading around VND94.80-97.20 million/tael.
In the world, this precious metal fluctuated around 3,011 USD/ounce this morning, down about 12 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 93.70 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank .
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on March 25 at 24,847 VND/USD, an increase of 16 VND compared to the end of last week.
With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank and BIDV both announced from 25,430-25,820 VND, an increase of 40 VND.
Similarly, VietinBank traded from 25,460-25,820 VND/USD (buy/sell). Eximbank traded from 25,430-25,810 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 30 VND compared to the previous closing price./.
