On October 14, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Tri) confirmed that this world natural heritage site has just received a "double" of prestigious awards at the 2025 World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony in Hong Kong (China).
The two awards include: Vietnam's Leading Nature Destination 2025 and Asia's Leading National Park 2025.
Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, was present and received the honorary cup at the above event.
According to the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, this "double" award is not only an award, but also a "golden guarantee" for the Vietnamese natural tourism brand in the international arena, opening a new development period for Phong Nha - Ke Bang, the "green pearl" of the Central region.
Being honored in both national and continental categories is considered a historic turning point for Quang Tri tourism in particular and Vietnam in general.
"If Phong Nha - Ke Bang was previously known as a pristine destination for adventurous tourists, now this heritage has officially entered the playground of high-class destinations, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading national parks," said the leader of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
