Gold price skyrocketed to 93 million VND/tael then fluctuated wildly.

In less than 24 hours, the price of SJC gold bars increased by nearly 3 million VND/tael, to 93.1 million VND/tael this morning, February 11.

In two days, the price of SJC gold bars increased by nearly 3 million VND/tael.

The selling price of SJC gold bars this morning at PNJ Company increased to 93.1 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.8 million VND/tael compared to the end of yesterday.

Compared to yesterday morning, the price of SJC gold bars has increased by 2.8 million VND/tael in the selling direction.

On the buying side, the price of SJC gold bars listed at PNJ Company increased even more strongly, to 3.3 million VND/tael.

The price of 9999 gold rings at PNJ Company also skyrocketed, reaching 91.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 1 million VND/tael compared to the end of yesterday. Compared to yesterday morning, the price of 9999 gold rings increased by a total of 1.9 million VND/tael.

In terms of buying, from yesterday afternoon until now, the price of 9999 gold rings at PNJ Company has increased by 2.7 million VND/tael.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, at 10:15 am, the selling price of gold rings was 93.05 million VND/tael, the buying price was 89.1 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, at SJC Company, after raising the selling price of SJC gold bars to over 93 million VND/tael, from 10:00 a.m. the selling price of SJC gold bars quickly decreased to 92 million VND/tael, the buying price was 89 million VND/tael.

The price of 9999 gold rings at SJC Company also dropped rapidly to 91.5 million VND/tael, the purchase price was 88.8 million VND/tael.

Notably, the current gold price is very divergent. At 10:30, the selling price of gold at ACB Bank was only 90.8 million VND/tael, the buying price was 89.3 million VND/tael, 1.2 million VND/tael lower than the selling price at SJC Company.

Similarly, Eximbank also listed the selling price of SJC gold bars at 90.5 million VND/tael and the buying price at 88.5 million VND/tael.

According to expert Tran Duy Phuong, the domestic gold price fluctuates erratically because the world gold price, after increasing rapidly and continuously being in a state of over-buying, has shown signs of adjustment today. Meanwhile, although the gold price has increased, the gold market is gloomy, with few buyers.

Mr. Phuong predicts that if investors take profits, the world gold price will drop sharply, possibly up to 100 USD/ounce, causing the domestic gold price to plummet.

Currently, the difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold bars at some banks is at 2 million VND/tael, while at gold companies the difference is up to 3 million VND/tael.
