World oil prices rebound
Early morning on August 21, 2025, Brent oil price reached 66.44 USD/barrel, up 0.74 USD (equivalent to 1.12%). WTI oil also increased 0.66 USD, to 62.45 USD/barrel. The increase appeared after the report of the American Petroleum Institute (API) showed that US crude oil inventories decreased by 2.42 million barrels.
UBS analyst Giovanni Staunovo said the positive data helped the market regain momentum, but noted that price movements depended on the progress of peace talks in Ukraine.
