The group included over 15 influential KOLs and bloggers from social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Notable among them were Koji Arsua (When in Manila), Crystha Shayne (Hello Shayne), Alvin & Ms. Monica (The Cenzons), Melo Villareal (Out of Town Travel Vlog), Reylyn Ann Remegio (Travelokaloka Girl), and others.
With the message "New Da Nang – New Experiences," the 5-day, 4-night journey offered the group of KOLs and bloggers a colorful picture of the city's tourism. From the pristine natural beauty of Son Tra Peninsula, the cultural and historical value of the Cham Sculpture Museum and Marble Mountains, to the heritage space of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary.
In particular, the community and ecotourism experiences at Bay Mau Coconut Forest, Thanh Ha Pottery Village, and Tra Que Vegetable Village gave the group a genuine sense of the connection between traditional culture and the sustainable green lifestyle of the new Da Nang city.
This event is expected to provide unique and authentic perspectives on Da Nang tourism, thereby strongly spreading awareness to the Filipino tourist community – a market considered to have great potential in Southeast Asia. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to strengthen media cooperation with airlines, travel companies, and the press in the Philippines.
According to statistics, Da Nang welcomed over 65,000 Filipino tourists in 2024. In the first five months of 2025, this number reached over 49,000, a 2.26-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024.
With the convenience of direct Manila-Da Nang flights operated by Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines (3 flights/week each), the Philippine market promises to continue its strong growth in the coming period.
