
According to a joint decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, except for fuel oil, the prices of all other petroleum products will decrease from 3 PM on February 27th, with the highest reduction being 219 VND/liter.
Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 197 VND/liter, to 20,658 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by 219 VND/liter, with the new price being 21,112 VND/liter; diesel fuel did not exceed 18,957 VND/liter, a decrease of 106 VND/liter; and kerosene decreased by 178 VND/liter, to 19,335 VND/liter. Mazut fuel, however, increased by 19 VND, with the new price being 17,615 VND/kg.
During this price adjustment period, the inter-ministerial committee did not allocate or utilize the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products. Prior to the price adjustment, the balance of the Price Stabilization Fund at Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) was 3,081 billion VND, unchanged from the most recent announcement.
In the most recent price adjustment (February 20th), the prices of E5 RON92 and RON95-III gasoline both increased by 257 VND/liter, and kerosene increased by 40 VND/liter. However, the price of diesel decreased by 10 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 183 VND/kg.
