Gasoline prices increased for the third consecutive time

Gasoline prices in today's adjustment period were adjusted up for the third consecutive time. RON 95 gasoline price is approaching 20,500 VND/liter.

This afternoon, September 4, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance announced changes in retail prices of gasoline products.

Based on the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, petroleum businesses will simultaneously adjust retail gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today.

Specifically, compared to the adjustment period last week, the price of RON 95 gasoline level 3 (the popular type on the market) today was adjusted up by 76 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 20,439 VND/liter.

Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 80 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 19,851 VND/liter.

Diesel price was also adjusted up by 116 VND/liter, selling price not higher than 18,473 VND/liter.

The price of 180CST 3.5S mazut oil is not higher than 15,376 VND/kg (an increase of 116 VND/kg compared to the current base price).

Thus, domestic gasoline prices have increased for the third consecutive time.

Previously, in the most recent adjustment period (August 28), gasoline prices were adjusted up. Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by 271-307 VND/liter while diesel prices increased by 452 VND/liter.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this management period (from August 28, 2025 to September 3, 2025) is affected by main factors such as: information about the OPEC+ meeting on September 7, 2025; the USD devaluation; the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each commodity, but the main trend is upward.
