Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province Le Quan; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province Tran Hong Quan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Duong Huynh Khai, along with representatives of departments, branches and sectors in the province; General Director of PetroVietnam Group Le Manh Hung.

The tournament attracted over 20 units, 1,585 athletes who are employees and relatives from member units and people of Ca Mau.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 17, the participation of 253 young athletes added to the colorful season, with 2 distances: 1.5 km for ages 8-10 and 1 km for ages 5-7.

Young athletes warm up and prepare to run 2 distances of 1 km and 1.5 km.

On the evening of April 17, the opening ceremony took place at the Ca Mau Provincial Convention Center. At 5:00 a.m. on April 18, athletes departed from the Cultural Square to the central routes and back.

With 3 running distances: 21 km, 10 km and 5 km, appropriately distributed, helping athletes proactively strategize to reach the finish line.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Manh Hung, General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, said: “A clear mind exists in a healthy body. Therefore, throughout the journey of growth, in addition to professional efforts in production and business, maintaining and developing the position, the captains have always been pioneers in the running and sports movement, spreading the love of training to the entire team... In addition to the goal of contributing to the development of the local health training movement, the tournament also helps bring the image of the people of Ca Mau, rich in hospitality and affection, closer to friends across the country. That is also the message the tournament wants to convey”.

For more than 20 years stationed in the southernmost part of the country, PetroVietnam has always wished and strived to repay the kindness of its homeland. On this occasion, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group donated 15 billion VND to Ca Mau province to build a civil project in the province.

In addition to a number of sports activities, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and its member units: Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company sponsored 1 billion VND; Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Joint Stock Company sponsored 800 million VND; Vietnam Gas Corporation sponsored 700 million VND, accompanying Ca Mau province throughout the events of Ca Mau - Destination 2021.

1km distance, athlete Do Tan Phat (RaceKit 0039) crossed the finish line.

Race results, age group 8-10, first prize for male belongs to Bui Tan Bao; first prize for female belongs to Trinh Thi Thuy Linh; first prize for age group 5-7 belongs to Do Tan Phat.

The first prize in the 5 km men's race went to Nguyen Nam Phat; the first prize in the 5 km women's race went to Le Thi Cam Dan; the first prize in the 10 km men's race went to Nguyen Nham Duy Khoi and the first prize in the 10 km women's race went to Nguyen Thi Kim Dung; the first prize in the 21 km men's race went to Nguyen Anh Tri and the first prize in the 21 km women's race went to Nguyen Thi Phuong Trinh.

The PetroVietnam - Ca Mau 2021 race is also a premise to prepare for the Dat Mui Marathon - Ca Mau expansion, which will take place at the end of 2021./.
