On the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22, the program "Proud Melody" returns with the theme "Forever the Soldier's Song", bringing an emotional artistic space, depicting the image of the Vietnam People's Army - the army "born from the people, fighting for the people" through familiar melodies.
This is also a tribute to those who have devoted their youth to the Fatherland, and also a song of pride for the generation of soldiers following in their fathers' footsteps: building a modern, disciplined, humane army, ready for the people....

The highlight of the program was the performance “Orders from the Heart”, which was elaborately staged and rich in cinematic quality. The performance brought together the participation of actors Le Hoang Long (as Sen), Phuong Nam (as Ta) and Colonel, Meritorious Artist, director Dang Thai Huyen from the film “Red Rain”, becoming a touching epic tribute to the heroic history and conveying the ideals, courage and “orders from the heart” of generations of soldiers.

In addition, there was an emotional exchange with representatives of the forces participating in the A80 parade. From the formation of command ships, combat ships... parading for the first time in the middle of the ocean to the flights that left their mark in the sky, each sharing revealed that behind the "brilliant moments" is a journey of persistent training, iron discipline and pride in being present in the image of a soldier in peacetime: steadfast, responsible and full of enthusiasm.

Not only honoring the military's strength, the program also opened up humane slices: from the love between the army and the people at the border to the progress of the Vietnamese peacekeeping force in the international arena. Those emotional and inspirational shares sketched the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" from many perspectives - close, genuine and full of kindness.

The musical flow throughout the program leads the audience from the heroic memories of “Uncle Ho is marching with us” (Huy Thuc), “Where are you tonight” (Phan Huynh Dieu)… to the modern breath of “The Fatherland calls my name” (Music: Dinh Trung Can, Poetry: Phan Que Mai). The works are newly arranged, the stage is rich in emotion and the participation of the OPlus band, People’s Artist Quang Tho, People’s Artist Hong Hanh… creates a harmony between tradition and modernity.

“Forever the Soldier's Song” is a musical journey - a journey of gratitude - for those who have dedicated their youth to the Fatherland, while also honoring today's generation of soldiers: brave, humane, modern and always ready for the people.

“Proud Melody” with the theme “Forever the Soldier’s Song” officially aired at 8:10 p.m. on December 7, 2025 on VTV1, hosted by MC Duc Bao and Hong Nhung. The program was implemented by the Department of Culture and Entertainment in coordination with the Department of Propaganda, General Department of Politics in November.
