The Lao Dong Newspaper has successfully organized many events and programs behind the newspaper, creating profound influence.
In the field of culture and arts, the Mai Vang Award has passed its 28th year and the program " Mai Vang gratitude". In the field of education, the program "Bringing schools to candidates" has been associated with generations of students through many exam seasons and the program "Scholarships to support ethnic minority and poor students". In the field of socio -economics, there is a writing contest "Listening to people's suggestions"; when the COVID-19 pandemic appeared, there were programs: "The Fatherland needs, the whole country joins hands", "Free food with the whole country to fight the epidemic", "Love for children". In particular, in the past 4 years, there has been the program "One million national flags with fishermen at sea" - now renamed the program "Proud of the national flag" with 3 components...
However, when starting to organize the "I love Vietnam" Golf Tournament, whose main goal is to raise funds for two of the meaningful social programs that have been and are being operated, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper still had certain concerns.
From the idea of the Editor-in-Chief of the Lao Dong Newspaper, within just a few months, a plan to coordinate with Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank) to organize a meaningful community-oriented sports activity was formed and preparations were made for the first "I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament - 2023 to launch. With the support and companionship of a number of units, the tournament was successful beyond expectations, not only in terms of expertise.

Most golfers commented that although they had participated in many major tournaments in the country, they could not hold back their emotions when participating in the "I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament. Because the meaning of the tournament made the athletes feel that they were truly members of a community that was willing to sympathize and share with those who still had many unfortunate lives, as well as increase their love for their homeland and country.
Mr. To Dinh Tuan - Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Co-Head of the Steering Committee of the tournament - commented: "This is a sporting event with sacred and very humane meaning, so it is highly appreciated by public opinion at home and abroad. Many golfers of Korean and Japanese nationality registered to participate very early. Domestic athletes also expressed their interest in the goal of raising funds for activities serving the community and society. The Organizing Committee is pleased with the success of the tournament in many aspects and will continue to organize the second tournament in 2024, as well as tournaments in the following years".
Singer Tuan Hung - who successfully auctioned the oil painting "Handing the flag to fishermen of Con Co district" at the tournament's closing gala, joining hands with other golfers and the main sponsor Nam A Bank to bring home a contribution of 800 million VND - was moved: "Tuan Hung himself is an artist, living and working in art with the love of the audience. Therefore, Tuan Hung believes that he must contribute back to society, the more the better. Auctioning the painting is not something big, it is just a desire to share with many difficult and unfortunate lives, to help students go to school, and soon become useful people for society."
Golfer Vincent Ta - a retired overseas Vietnamese - affirmed that he is very interested in the social significance of the tournament. Having owned a large pharmaceutical company and contributed a lot to charity funds and volunteer programs in Vietnam, he believes that the way the Organizing Committee of the "I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament does things is very unique and humane. He believes that the tournament with its meaning will be maintained for a long time, connecting hearts towards the social community, joining hands to build a prosperous country.
