Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 supports eye surgery for people in difficult circumstances

On May 23, at Saigon Nha Trang Eye Hospital, 7 patients on the list of those supported by the Charity Program of Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 for free eye surgery were successfully operated on.

Patients are examined before surgery.

In this first phase, 7 elderly patients with cataracts and in difficult circumstances received free eye surgery. Of these, 5 patients were from Vinh Hiep Commune (Nha Trang City), 1 patient was from Suoi Hiep Commune (Dien Khanh District) and 1 patient was from Ninh Hai Ward (Ninh Hoa Town). The patients were operated on using modern methods by a team of highly skilled doctors from Saigon Nha Trang Eye Hospital. It is expected that from now until the end of the year, the remaining 23 patients will continue to receive free consultation and surgery support in each phase.

Patients have their eyes re-examined before surgery.

This is a charity activity of the Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 organized by Khanh Hoa Newspaper in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company (Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Sanvinest) and Saigon Nha Trang Eye Hospital.

Previously, the program organized free eye screening for nearly 500 people in 3 communes and wards: Vinh Hiep, Suoi Hiep and Ninh Hai. Through that, it screened and fully supported eye surgery costs for 30 people in difficult circumstances in these communes and wards.
