The annual media award on human rights named: "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2025" is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television with the aim of mobilizing the participation of the majority of people in the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends in creating photos, videos or having creative ideas, telling good stories, meaningful discoveries on the topic "Happy Vietnam", thereby contributing to spreading positive images of the country and Vietnamese people... At the same time, contributing to promoting and spreading the precious cultural and historical traditions of the nation or the achievements of socio-economic development of the country to the public at home and abroad, contributing to enhancing the prestige and position of the country in the international arena.
More than 123 photos, photo collections, and videos sent by the authors are photos and videos that realistically depict the lives of Vietnamese people, scenic spots, and cultural beauty throughout the country, aiming to spread the story of a happy Vietnam.
The work "Joy in Work", by author Dang Hong Long, from Binh Phuoc province, has just been submitted to the Contest. Although the work is hard, with a stable salary, the female workers drying veneer are always smiling and happy.

The work "Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and NVIDIA CEO leisurely strolling the night streets, drinking Hanoi beer" by author Nguyen Nam Giang, from Hanoi, has just been submitted to the Contest. In the cold weather, in a very sincere and intimate atmosphere, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited Mr. Jensen Huang and the high-ranking leaders of NVIDIA Corporation to enjoy Hanoi street food such as nem tai, nem chua ran, and drink Truc Bach beer. The work "Proudly waving the national flag", by Thanh Vu Ly, from Ho Chi Minh City, has just been submitted to the Contest. In the heavy rain of the parade rehearsal, the police officers still stood solemnly, singing loudly with great spirit. The raindrops could not cool their steely spirit and loyalty to the Fatherland. Behind them, the red flag with yellow star still fluttered proudly, an indomitable symbol of faith, ideals and solidarity. The photo is a testament to the resilience, readiness to sacrifice for ideals and unshakable patriotism of the Vietnamese People's Armed Forces.
The organization of a series of events, exhibitions and the Media Award on human rights in Vietnam in 2025 (Happy Vietnam 2025) aims to discover and honor meaningful stories about all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life, vividly affirming the achievements that Vietnam has made in the field of human rights. Mobilizing the total strength of all classes of people in the country, the Vietnamese community abroad and international friends in communication work, promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world to affirm to the world that Vietnam is a peaceful, beautiful country, dynamically developing and a happy country.

Entries are accepted online at : https://happy.vietnam.vn Contestants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over The award consists of two categories: Photo and Video. Each contest category (photo and video) will have one First Prize worth 50,000,000 VND, two Second Prizes worth 30,000,000 VND, three Third Prizes worth 15,000,000 VND, 10 Encouragement Prizes worth 5,000,000 VND, one Most Voted Work Prize worth 5,000,000 VND. The Organizing Committee encourages and will award a creative prize in each category (photo and video) worth 20,000,000 VND for works with new ideas, creativity in content and form of expression. In addition, the Organizing Committee will award monthly prizes including First, Second, and Third prizes to the highest voted works of the month in each category.
