With a reduction of over 1,700 VND, RON95 gasoline is now priced at just over 19,000 VND/liter.

In this afternoon's fuel price adjustment (April 10), many gasoline and diesel products recorded record price reductions. Specifically, E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 1,491 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 1,712 VND/liter.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the global oil market during this price adjustment period (from April 3rd to April 9th) was influenced by several key factors: the US announcing high tariffs on goods from a number of trading partners, increased US crude oil inventories, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. These factors led to a sharp decline in global oil prices in recent days.

Given the aforementioned developments in global oil prices, the fluctuating VND/USD exchange rate, and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have decided on a plan to manage gasoline and diesel prices to ensure that price fluctuations are controlled without drawing from or utilizing the Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

The selling prices of commonly consumed petroleum products on the market are as follows: E5RON92 gasoline will not exceed 18,882 VND/liter (a decrease of 1,491 VND/liter), which is 325 VND/liter lower than RON95-III gasoline; RON95-III gasoline will not exceed 19,207 VND/liter (a decrease of 1,712 VND/liter).

Diesel fuel 0.05S should not exceed 17,243 VND/liter (a decrease of 1,235 VND/liter); kerosene should not exceed 17,413 VND/liter (a decrease of 1,322 VND/liter); and fuel oil 180CST 3.5S should not exceed 15,902 VND/kg (a decrease of 1,124 VND/kg).
