Ton Duc Thang University has just announced a policy to attract domestic and foreign experts and scientists to work and build strong research groups.

Accordingly, the groups of high-quality personnel that are attracted include: professors, associate professors, doctors in fields suitable for the school's training needs; experts and scientists with doctoral degrees or higher who are capable of scientific research; groups of personnel to carry out management work according to the school's job position project (appointment to leadership and professional management positions).

In addition to income and benefits according to current regulations of the school, the above-mentioned beneficiaries are entitled to additional benefits regarding income, preferential policies, and allowances. Specifically, professors, associate professors, experts, and prestigious scientists are given priority in consideration for office space and accommodation support at the school's official residence.

In addition to the income level according to the school's regulations, there is also an additional attraction allowance that is applied continuously for 24 months from the date the employee starts working at the school. Accordingly, the allowance levels are as follows: 30 million VND/month for professors, 20 million VND/month for associate professors and 10 million VND/month for doctors.

In addition, experts and scientists who are researchers and research assistants of the school are entitled to monthly academic title and degree allowances. Specifically, the level is 8 million VND for professors, 6 million VND for associate professors and 3.5 million VND for doctors.

This school also has a preferential policy for its scientists with high citation indexes, up to 10 million VND per month.

As for scientists who are lecturers of the school, who have registered for research, they will enjoy great incentives in addition to their monthly salary. Accordingly, the remuneration for each scientific publication is up to 360 million VND/lecturer. This is the highest remuneration, applied to publications that are WoS articles of the first rank.

Previously, since 2017, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics announced a reward for international publications of up to 200 million VND for articles published in scientific journals in the ISI or Scopus database with an IF index greater than 2. The International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) also stipulated that lecturers with the professorial level must have 2 international articles/year; associate professors 1.5 articles/year; PhDs 1 article/year and masters 1 article/2 years. Lecturers whose scientific publications exceed this regulation are rewarded 1,500 USD/international ISI article (more than 30 million VND).
