Digital transformation spreads across schools
At Son La High School for the Gifted, lessons are no longer dry but become more lively and memorable than ever thanks to the support of technology.
Natural Science subjects are illustrated with intuitive virtual experiments, helping students easily grasp complex knowledge. History, Geography, and Literature subjects become more attractive with vivid documentaries, taking students "traveling" through space and time.
With the orientation of building a smart school, the team of teachers and generations of students here have made efforts to build a digital school model. The school focuses on digitizing documents and curriculum to be able to teach on multiple platforms, allowing flexible sharing of learning resources both in person and online.
In particular, the proactive application of AI has made great strides. Teachers can use AI to create videos to illustrate lessons, making the content more intuitive and engaging. Students are also guided on how to use AI during group assignments, promoting self-learning and creativity.
The process of exploring AI has not only promoted creativity and innovation in teachers' teaching methods but also helped students develop the necessary competencies required by the new educational program.

Not only Son La Specialized High School, but also the management and teaching activities of teachers in secondary and high schools in the province have gradually improved thanks to the application of information technology and AI. Moc Ly High School is also a typical example in effectively implementing digital transformation.
The school has effectively deployed the use of electronic records including electronic grade books and transcripts, allowing full printing of content and confirmation from authorized persons.
Cashless payments are also widely applied, creating convenience for parents and students. Communication channels and connections with application platforms inside and outside the education sector are enhanced through email, Zalo, website and SMAS system, helping the exchange of information between parents and schools become quick and effective.
In addition, the effective use of the electronic administrative management system (iOffice) and digital signature for the school's Board of Directors has optimized the process of managing and exchanging electronic documents with the Department of Education and Training.
Meetings, conferences, seminars, class observations and professional activities are also flexibly organized through software such as Zoom Cloud Meeting, Google Meet, MS Teams, helping to save time and costs.
The application of information technology has also been expanded in training teachers on the teacher training and development management information system (TEMIS) under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training. Many schools have completed the purchase and declaration of data on equipment management software, helping to make facilities management more scientific and effective.
