- On the evening of August 29, at the Hall of Lang Son Pedagogical College, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association coordinated with two musician associations of Lang Son and Bac Giang provinces (under the Vietnam Musicians Association) to organize a music exchange program with the theme "Shining Melody".
In the program, 14 special musical performances were composed and performed by musicians and singers who are members of the two branches. The performances had themes praising the homeland, country and people.
In particular, many performances have unique sounds, with a fusion between traditional and ethnic music and new music because the musicians used materials from two intangible heritages: then singing - tinh lute and quan ho singing in their compositions.
The program was organized to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Vietnam Music Day (September 3, 2014 - September 3, 2024), and was also an opportunity for members of the branches to meet, exchange, learn from each other; foster and develop a love of music among members of the two branches; promote musical works composed and performed by members of the branches; thereby improving the quality of artistic composition and performance activities in the area.
