Art exchange to celebrate 50 years of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations

Within the framework of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations in Thanh Hoa, on the evening of May 6, in Sam Son City, an art exchange program imbued with solidarity and friendship took place.

Delegates welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to attend the art exchange program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations.

Together with leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations of Japan; Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairmen of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly delegation of Thanh Hoa province, leaders of departments, branches, localities, units and representatives of enterprises in the province.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nikai Toshihiro, Chairman of the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians' Union, expressed his impression with the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations in Thanh Hoa and affirmed: The relationship between Vietnam and Japan is being built on the spirit of "Sincerity, affection and trust". That relationship is also becoming more and more practical and will continue to develop further. The Chairman of the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians' Union hopes that in the coming time, the relationship between Vietnam and Japan will become increasingly deeper and develop comprehensively in all areas such as: economy, politics, culture, defense - security.

Expressing his impression of the good feelings between Vietnam and Japan, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan emphasized: Looking back at the 50-year journey of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, Vietnam has witnessed the rapid, strong, dynamic development and great achievements of the bilateral relationship. The two countries have established a deep strategic partnership, not only at the national level, but also for each locality, culture, cuisine, music, cinema, etc. Japanese investment projects have also contributed significantly to strongly promoting the socio-economic development of localities in Vietnam, including Thanh Hoa province.

Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan affirmed: Thanh Hoa Province will always strive and accompany for the good friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries in general; between Vietnamese provinces and cities with Japanese partners in particular.

The art program was performed by artists of Lam Son Thanh Hoa Dance and Drama Theater with performances that are proud of Thanh land.
