Exchange of initiatives "Families are responsible for implementing traffic safety" in 2023

On the morning of August 4, in Krong Pac district, the Provincial Women's Union organized an initiative exchange program "Families have responsibility in implementing traffic safety" in 2023.

Participating in the program were 16 teams from 16 Women's Unions of communes and towns in Krong Pac district and more than 200 women members watching and cheering.

The teams brought to the exchange program witty and colorful plays, poems, songs, chants, and folk songs with careful investment and preparation. The works reflected many situations and behaviors that violated traffic safety laws such as: driving after drinking alcohol; speeding, reckless driving; people riding motorbikes without helmets; giving vehicles to underage people to use...

These are quite common situations in daily life, the main cause of which comes from subjectivity, arbitrariness, and failure to strictly comply with traffic laws, and are also the cause of heartbreaking and regrettable accidents, causing damage to property and the lives of traffic participants.

Through the works participating in the exchange, the Women's Unions of communes and towns also conveyed many creative ways and ideas in propaganda work, mobilizing members and people to join hands to ensure traffic order and safety.

Speaking at the exchange program, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union To Thi Tam requested that all levels of women's unions continue to improve the effectiveness of propaganda work, raise people's awareness to contribute to reducing traffic accidents. In addition, all levels and sectors, especially the Provincial and District Traffic Safety Committees, continue to coordinate and support the Women's Unions at all levels to effectively implement the coordinated propaganda and mobilization program "Women participate in ensuring traffic safety for the happiness of each family".

The Organizing Committee awarded first prize to the Women's Union Team of Phuoc An town.

At the end of the exchange program, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 consolation prizes, 5 third prizes, 2 second prizes and 1 first prize to the competing teams. The team of the Women's Union of Phuoc An town won first prize with the skit "Traffic safety, responsibility of every family".

On this occasion, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee also presented 30 helmets to the heads of the Women's Association branches in Krong Pac district.
