On the evening of December 4, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, a cultural and artistic exchange program took place between Da Lat city and Chuncheon.
In his opening speech, Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Committee Dang Quang Tu informed that the exchange night is the main program to welcome the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024, marking the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the twinning relationship between Da Lat, Lam Dong province (Vietnam) and Chuncheon city, Gangwon province (Korea).
The program aims to strengthen the solidarity and friendship between the two cities and is an opportunity for Da Lat people to understand more about Korean culture and people, and for Korean people to understand more about Vietnamese culture and people in general and the Da Lat people's style of "gentle - elegant - hospitable".

Chuncheon City Mayor Yook Dong Han said that through cultural and artistic exchange programs, mutual understanding and friendship between the two localities in particular and the two countries in general will be promoted.
At the exchange night, artists from Da Lat and Chuncheon cities performed cultural and artistic performances to promote the culture of each country and locality, such as the Chuncheon male choir, Chuncheon city art troupe through the musical pieces Flower Girl, Friendship Song, Snow, Katusa Soldier; the modern dance group 212 Nation Da Lat, Vovinam club of Da Lat city; performances by teachers from Kindergarten 5 of Da Lat city and Pha Le dance group; performances by musician Truong Le Son and singer Hoang Le Vy with Hai Yen dance group, K-Pop music performance with Hello Korea fashion, Taekwondo martial arts and traditional music . The actors and artists of the two cities also interacted with the audience.

Da Lat City and Chuncheon have had a friendly relationship since 2016 and upgraded the relationship to sister city in 2019, on the occasion of the 8th Da Lat Flower Festival.
Since the establishment of friendship and sisterhood relations, the two cities have organized many exchange activities in many fields, aiming to bring cultural experiences to the people of the two countries and localities; contributing to further strengthening the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Korea.

Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Committee Dang Quang Tu said that Da Lat-Lam Dong is loved by Korean people and chosen as one of their favorite tourist destinations. In 2024, there will be about 280,000 Korean tourists, equivalent to 60% of the total number of international visitors coming to visit and experience the city of thousands of flowers.
According to announced information, with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors", the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival officially opened on the evening of December 5, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city.
