Hung Kings' Commemoration Day 2023: Honoring traditional cultural values

To ensure a solemn, respectful and deeply communal ceremony, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony and the 2023 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week have been carefully prepared by Phu Tho province. Many festival activities are organized in a joyful and healthy manner, closely linked to tourism, to introduce, promote and honor the values of the unique cultural heritage of the Ancestral Land.

The "Non song gam pham" ao dai set a record as the longest in Vietnam with a length of 178m, weighing more than 100kg, with more than 400 meters of fabric. On the ao dai, there are printed pictures depicting the majestic and poetic beauty of the S-shaped strip of Vietnam, with Hung Temple ( Phu Tho ) as the center to connect and spread the values of Vietnamese cultural heritage. The ao dai was chosen to be performed at Van Lang Park, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province.

At the same time, at the event, many collections such as: Linh Thieng Nguon Goi; Sac Co; Sen Gam were selected to perform on the longest performance route in Vietnam, over 500m long, with the largest number of people wearing Ao Dai attending a cultural and artistic event in Vietnam, nearly 3,800 people.

Besides, visitors can attend many other events such as: Northwest Tourism Fair 2023 and Ancestral Land Culinary Culture Festival at Hung Kings Temple Historical Site; Northeast Industry and Trade Fair and Competitions in making Chung cake, pounding sticky rice cake at Hung Kings Temple Historical Site; demonstration of stabbing and beating bronze drums at Hung Kings Temple Historical Site; exhibition of "Cultural Heritage, Tourism of Vietnam's Capital Regions".

This year, in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic in the whole country in general and Phu Tho province in particular has been basically controlled, so tourists from all over the country and compatriots from all over the country coming to Hung Temple to participate in the activities of the Hung Kings' death anniversary are expected to increase.
