The festival is jointly organized by the Department of Tourism, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, and Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company until August 31. Many types of agricultural products and rare, unique fruits from all over the country are introduced to visitors such as: Lai Thieu mangosteen, Hoa Loc sand mango, Thai jackfruit, Tien Giang green-skin grapefruit, Dak Lak durian, Tra Vinh coconut nectar, ST25 rice... The highlight of this year's festival is the collection of high-class fruits originating from many countries and territories such as: Brazilian cherries, Japanese pink grapes, Indian red pomegranates, Japanese guava... grown right at Suoi Tien Farm with an area of over 5 hectares.

According to Mr. Le Huu Luan, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the 16th Southern Fruit Festival, the festival takes place at a time when Ho Chi Minh City tourism is recovering after the pandemic and the summer peak season, so the number of visitors is expected to increase. The Organizing Committee hopes that after 16 times of organization, the Southern Fruit Festival will be one of the important highlights, contributing to promoting the culture and tourism of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City to international friends.

In addition to introducing agricultural products and fruits, the festival also held the "Southern Safe and Delicious Fruit" Contest, gathering fruit varieties from 23 southern provinces and cities. Along with that, the Fruit Sculpting Art Contest also attracted many works from Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Ho Chi Minh City. The artisans created beautiful works from fruits, expressing the traditional culture of the Vietnamese people. Coming to the festival, visitors can also experience more than 20 dishes made from fruits; enjoy art programs on "Don Ca Tai Tu", performances of traditional musical instruments, street music, and the "Son Tinh Dai Chien Thuy Tinh" dramatization program.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded a certificate to the representative of Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company for setting the record "Suoi Tien Farm - The farm in the tourist area that grows and cares for the most fruits originating from many countries in the world in Vietnam".
