(Dan Tri Newspaper) - With more than a month left until Christmas, many young people in Ho Chi Minh City are already eagerly gathering to go out and check in, enjoying the festive atmosphere of the year-end holiday season early.
Ho Chi Minh City has started embracing the Christmas spirit early, with many shopping malls in District 1 such as Diamond Plaza, Takashimaya, Gem Center, etc., being lavishly decorated with characteristic symbols like sleighs, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, etc., attracting a large number of people, especially young people, to visit and take photos. According to observations by a Dan Tri reporter at Diamond Plaza on the evening of November 17th, from 7 PM onwards, a large number of people flocked to the Christmas decorations area on Le Duan Street to have fun and take photos. The early Christmas atmosphere in Ho Chi Minh City unfolded in cool weather, with a slight drop in evening temperatures, creating favorable conditions for young people to go out and have fun. Hai Yen (from Binh Thanh District) and her friends visited Diamond Plaza to check in and experience the early Christmas atmosphere this weekend. "This year, the Christmas spirit arrived quite early and is very lively. We are very excited to wait until the weekend to take pictures after hearing that the place has been decorated for Christmas," Hai Yen shared. Young people don't forget to prepare suitable outfits and accessories such as Santa hats and cute reindeer antlers when going out to check in for early Christmas photos. Diamond Plaza is lavishly decorated with two large Christmas trees right at the main entrance. However, this year the decorations in this area are simpler than in previous years. The sale of Christmas toys and accessories is also bustling, catering to locals and young people who come to celebrate here. Although Christmas is still more than a month away, adults, children, and families have been flocking to the streets this weekend to celebrate early.
Many shopping malls are decorated with colorful lights and Christmas decorations, making them even more enchanting places for taking photos. Santa Claus, in his signature red costume, also appeared on the streets, signaling the arrival of another Christmas season. Hoang Tuyen (from Tan Binh district) said that she comes here every year to check in and enjoy the early Christmas atmosphere. Each year is different, but she's always excited. "This year the decorations are simpler, but still very beautiful and look great in photos. Although Christmas is still quite a while away, the number of people coming to have fun is already very large," Yen shared. A young child is taken out to play in the streets by their parents, immersing themselves in the lively atmosphere of the early Christmas season. Outside the Takashimaya shopping mall (District 1) this year, instead of giant Christmas trees, there are large spheres, bells, and LED lights attracting many people to come and have fun and take photos. Children were delighted to join in the early Christmas atmosphere that permeated the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, even though Christmas was still more than a month away.
