Information and images shared from these official pages spread very quickly. The campaign "One good news every day, one beautiful story every week" of Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union was built to propagate and introduce typical examples of good people and good deeds on the personal pages of union officials, union members, youth, Fanpages of union and association chapters at all levels, on the radio and television system. This is also the unit that established the Information and Social Criticism Group on social networks, regularly providing official information and legal knowledge to raise awareness of officials, union members, and youth, raising vigilance against false and hostile arguments. The Youth Union has also actively created an environment for young people to demonstrate their strengths, practice skills in designing, composing and making video clips, applying information technology and the Internet in work and life.

Xuan Lap Commune, Lam Binh District is one of the most disadvantaged communes in Tuyen Quang Province. There are many Mong and Dao ethnic people living here, and this is also considered a low-lying area of the province in terms of propaganda and legal education for the people. Taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of the people, there have appeared many bad elements using social networking platforms to attract and incite people to listen to distorted arguments that defame the Party and the government, and incite people to follow evil religions. However, over the years, the people here have remained as firm as a rock in their belief in the Party and Uncle Ho.

That result is thanks to the exemplary Party members and prestigious people in the community who actively mobilize people to well implement the policies of the Party and the State, the socio-economic development programs and projects of the province, and always have a spirit of vigilance. A typical example is the village elder Sung My Chinh of Khuoi Cung village. Despite his old age, he does not fear difficulties, always stands side by side with the village party cell, goes to each house, holds each person's hand, mobilizes people to well implement the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws; implements many policies and solutions in economic, cultural and social development, pushes back backward customs and practices, and applies advanced techniques in cultivation and animal husbandry.

In the younger generation, there is the Secretary of the Xuan Lap Commune Youth Union, Lo Tien Huong. Remembering the time of Covid-19, when contact and communication were not favorable, Secretary of the Commune Youth Union, Lo Tien Huong, had the initiative to record propaganda and guidance information about the Covid-19 epidemic and new policies of the Party and laws of the State on cassette tapes, then he himself rode his motorbike through the roads and villages to broadcast and mobilize people. This method has proven to be very effective. And after that initiative, Lo Tien Huong set up a Zalo group of the Commune Youth Union to discuss work. Currently, the Zalo group of the Commune Youth Union has nearly 90% of union members and youth members, managed by Mr. Huong. Zalo Group is a channel that posts all the practical information that young people need, from weather forecasts to resolutions of the Party Committee of the commune, the Youth Union at higher levels, to exchanging and debating issues of interest to many people, reminding union members to selectively access information on social networks... Thanks to that, the Zalo channel always maintains good operations, has a clear direction that young people are often interested in. Comrade Huong shared: To propagate for young people to comply well with the Party and State's guidelines and policies, not to let bad guys take advantage, first of all, we must do a good job of gathering young people, must create work to "keep the feet, keep the fire" of youth enthusiasm. That is why bad guys have no place to take advantage.

No one is left out

On the revolutionary path, our Party always faces difficulties and challenges, including the fact that evil and hostile forces always seek every means to intervene, sabotage, cause instability, and carry out the plot of "peaceful evolution" to eliminate socialism in Vietnam. This reality requires sectors and localities to proactively build a position of people's hearts, including building a position of people's hearts in cyberspace to thereby refute, fight and protect the Party's ideological foundation.

Currently, the propaganda activities to sabotage the ideology and internal Party of hostile forces on cyberspace are taking place with increasing scale and intensity; the tricks to deceive people are increasingly sophisticated and diverse... Those activities have negatively impacted the ideology and awareness of a number of cadres, party members and people; caused confusion and suspicion, and undermined trust in the country and the role of the Party. Firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation and effectively fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints is a fundamental, important and vital content in the work of building and rectifying the Party, which is the top priority task of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people.

With that awareness, in recent times, the Provincial Steering Committee 35 has always proactively coordinated to monitor and grasp the information situation on social networks and the results of positive information dissemination, fighting against bad and toxic information, wrong and hostile views related to political events, foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders, provincial leaders, especially monitoring information on social networks reflecting on the province to orient and promptly have plans to fight and handle. In particular, orienting information, fighting against accounts posting negative information on the occasion of the opening of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tourism Year; implementing policies for preschool teachers with long-term contracts according to Decision No. 60/2011/QD-TTg dated October 26, 2011 of the Prime Minister, the situation of overcharging in some schools, the case of teachers and students at Van Phu Secondary School, Son Duong District, the case of teachers at Hung Duc Kindergarten, Ham Yen...

In 2023, the Fanpage "Tuyen Quang People" of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 and the page of the District Steering Committee 35 posted over 2,000 news, articles, infographics, video clips, and propaganda photos. The member agencies of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 directed functional units to regularly monitor the sabotage activities of hostile forces, political opportunists, and discontented subjects; grasp information reflecting on the province on cyberspace, especially related to important political events and sensitive cases, to promptly have appropriate and effective measures and policies. The provincial press agencies and units with electronic information portals/pages closely followed the direction of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, important political events, and practical situations, promptly, accurately, and practically reflected the political - economic - cultural - social life of the province; built and maintained the column "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation"; Actively propagate Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and proactively fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in a highly persuasive and attractive manner.

As one of the main units in protecting the Party's foundation and fighting against hostile and erroneous viewpoints, Tuyen Quang Newspaper maintains the column "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation" with articles of a political nature. In addition, in the columns "Editorial - Issues of this period", "Politics", "Party and State Building", "Ho Chi Minh's Ethics", "Great Unity", "Television", "Media", "National Defense - Security", "Law", "Culture"... there are many articles on protecting the Party's ideological foundation published in the Newspaper's publications. In 2023, Tuyen Quang Newspaper produced over 1,500 articles on protecting the Party's ideological foundation; 123 live broadcasts and livestreams on political, cultural, sports and tourism events of the province, attracting a large number of viewers and interactions. Tuyen Quang Newspaper's online fanpage currently attracts 70,000 followers.

The fanpage “Tuyen Quang Provincial Police” has over 100,000 followers and has posted nearly 1,000 articles on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, raising vigilance for cadres, party members and people against the plots, methods and tricks of sabotage by hostile forces. The professional unit has called, warned, requested to remove, delete posts, and committed not to repeat the offense against 65 Facebook account holders for posting and sharing unverified information that created bad public opinion on social networks; administratively sanctioned subjects who violated regulations on information on the network...

Comrade Pham Ninh Thai, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Son district, said: The work of educating political ideology, ethics, revolutionary traditions and disseminating and educating the laws of the Party and the State for cadres, party members and people has always received special attention from the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee. Thanks to that, over the years, the political situation and social order and safety in the district have always been maintained stable.

Not only agencies, units, and localities, but also each citizen of Tuyen Quang, when accessing biased information about the locality, proactively fight and inform. Ms. Pham Thuy Linh, Tan Quang ward (Tuyen Quang city) shared: Informing and sharing incorrect views about Tuyen Quang on social networks is what she feels she needs to do.

Cadres and party members must set an example and mobilize the people, especially the young generation, to focus on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in conjunction with refuting bad and toxic information, wrong and hostile viewpoints, and spreading good and positive information every day, following the motto "using beauty to eliminate ugliness". Regularly monitor and grasp the plots and sabotage activities of hostile, reactionary and opportunistic political forces on cyberspace, and report information about the province on newspapers and social networks, especially related to important political events and sensitive cases, in order to promptly take appropriate and effective measures and countermeasures.
