In the first 6 months of the year, Market Management Team No. 4 organized a commitment signing with 34 business establishments not to trade or store counterfeit goods or goods of unknown origin; posted 5 news articles on the industry's electronic information portal, and broadcast 2 reports on commune-level radio and television. Inspected 22 cases, discovered and handled 21 administrative violations, with a total amount of money collected for the state budget of nearly 124 million VND; of which nearly 27 million VND was from the sale of confiscated goods and more than 5 million VND of destroyed goods.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, owner of a grocery store in Phieng Ban 2 sub-area, Bac Yen commune, said: Currently, counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods are mixed very sophisticatedly, it is very difficult to distinguish by senses. Therefore, I really hope that market management officers will continue to strengthen propaganda, provide specific instructions to businesses on how to identify genuine and fake goods and related legal regulations..., helping us feel more secure in trading according to the law, protecting our reputation and the interests of consumers.
In addition, Market Management Team No. 4 also actively protects Vietnamese brands and local agricultural products, strengthens inspection, supervision, and handling of violations to prevent counterfeit and smuggled goods, creating a healthy competitive environment for domestic products. Promotes propaganda to raise awareness among people and businesses about the value of Vietnamese goods, especially local agricultural products; coordinates in organizing fairs, seminars, and interdisciplinary inspections with the police, health, agriculture , etc. to promptly detect and handle violations in the field of agricultural products, protect consumer rights and the reputation of local products.
With a high sense of responsibility, not afraid of difficulties or hardships, officers and civil servants of Market Management Team No. 4 are continuing to closely follow the area, proactively grasp the situation, resolutely fight against smuggling and trade fraud, contributing to maintaining legal discipline, stabilizing the market, protecting consumer rights, and accompanying the development of the local economy , especially in remote communes in the management area.
