Thai golf wins big at LPGA Tour season-ending tournament

The CME Group Tour Championship is a tournament that summarizes the 2024-2025 season on the LPGA Tour (a prestigious golf tournament system for women, equivalent to the Masters tournaments in tennis).

At the end of the final day of competition this morning (November 24, Vietnam time), world number one golfer from Thailand Atthaya “Jeeno” Thitikul achieved a total score of -26 strokes, winning the championship.

The runner-up was also a golfer from the land of golden temples, Pajaree Anannarukarn, with a total score of -22 strokes.

Another very famous golfer who played very well was world number two Nelly Korda (USA). She had a total score of -20 strokes. However, due to the excellent performance of the Thai golfers, the American golfer only finished 3rd in this tournament.

Ranked 4th is Gaby Lopez (Mexico), with a total score of -19 strokes. Ranked 5th is Nasa Hataoka (Japan), with a total score of -17 strokes.

On the other hand, former world number one Ko Jin Young (Korea) did not play well. She only scored -4 strokes in total, ranking 46th in the tournament.
