Prime Minister: Timely honoring of those who sacrificed themselves for the people and the country

(Dan Tri) - According to the Prime Minister, recently the country has had many historical events and many cases of self-sacrifice and dedication for the people, for comrades, for the country, so they need to be honored and rewarded promptly.

On the afternoon of November 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council for the 2021-2026 term (Council), chaired the 15th meeting of the Council to appraise, consider, and decide on collectives and individuals proposed for commendation and honor at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

At the same time, the meeting also reviewed and agreed on a number of contents related to preparations for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

According to the Council, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is scheduled to be held in December, with the theme: "Emulating innovation, creativity, accelerating breakthroughs to bring the country into an era of strong, civilized, and prosperous development".

The Congress will evaluate the results of patriotic emulation movements and reward work in the 2021-2025 period; set out goals, directions and tasks of patriotic emulation movements and reward work in the 2026-2030 period.

In which, commend and honor heroic individuals, collectives, and national emulation fighters; typical and advanced individuals and collectives, exemplary and excellent models in patriotic emulation movements at each level, each sector, in all fields, especially key fields that are being promoted for implementation.

Within the framework of the Congress, there will be activities such as a photo exhibition about Uncle Ho with the patriotic emulation movement and emulation congresses; an exhibition of the country's economic and social achievements after 40 years of renovation; exchanges with advanced models; cultural and artistic activities, etc.

Up to now, the preparation work for the Congress has been urgently deployed by the sub-committees: Content, propaganda, logistics - security, basically completed, ready for the Congress to be a great success.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the Council and its members for their efforts, focus, and active preparation for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

Knowing that there is not much time left until the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the amount of preparation that needs to be done is relatively large, and the quality requirements are very high, the Prime Minister requested to do a good job of organizing receptions and logistics, ensuring thoughtfulness, safety, economy, and accuracy to organize the Congress in a solemn, serious, joyful, healthy, unique, and highly contagious spirit,...

The Congress not only summarizes the emulation movements, depicts the nature of the emulation movement in all fields, contributing to the overall achievements of the whole country, but also selects and honors individuals and collectives of the 2021-2025 period, reflecting the typical and outstanding nature of organizations and individuals.

At the same time, the Congress not only arouses national pride but also motivates, inspires and encourages emulation movements in the 2026-2030 period, including emulation to achieve the double-digit growth target, joining the whole country in entering a new era of strong, civilized, prosperous and happy development.
