On the afternoon of November 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council for the 2021-2026 term (Council), chaired the 15th meeting of the Council to appraise, consider and decide on collectives and individuals proposed for commendation and honor at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress; and to review and agree on a number of contents related to the preparation work for the organization of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Attending the meeting were: Politburo member, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Vice President of the Council; Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, First Vice President of the Council; Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice President of the Council; leaders of ministries, departments, branches and central agencies who are members of the Council.
The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress will take place in December 2025 with the theme: "Emulating innovation, creativity, accelerating breakthroughs to bring the country into an era of strong, civilized, and prosperous development."
The Congress will evaluate the results of patriotic emulation movements and reward work in the 2021-2025 period; set out goals, directions and tasks of patriotic emulation movements and reward work in the 2026-2030 period.
The Congress commends and honors heroic individuals and collectives, national emulation fighters; typical and advanced individuals and collectives, exemplary and excellent models in patriotic emulation movements at each level, each sector, in all fields, especially key fields that are being promoted for implementation.
Within the framework of the Congress, there will be a photo exhibition about Uncle Ho with the patriotic emulation movement and emulation congresses; an exhibition of the country's economic and social achievements after 40 years of national renovation; exchanges of advanced models; cultural and artistic activities...
Up to now, the preparation work for the Congress has been urgently deployed by the sub-committees: Content, Propaganda, Logistics-Security, basically completed, ready for the Congress to be a great success.
At the Meeting, the Council reviewed, considered and decided on the collectives and individuals proposed for commendation and honor at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the Council and its members for their efforts, focus, and active preparation for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
The Prime Minister said that there is not much time left until the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the amount of work that needs to be prepared is relatively large, and the quality requirements are very high.
The relevant parties need to do a good job of organizing the reception and logistics, ensuring thoughtfulness, safety, economy, and accuracy to organize the Congress in a solemn, serious, joyful, healthy, unique, highly influential, sustainable, and safe spirit.
The Congress summarizes emulation movements, depicts the nature of emulation movements in all fields, contributing to the overall achievements of the whole country; selects and honors individuals and collectives of the 2021-2025 period, accurately reflecting the typical and outstanding nature of organizations and individuals; arouses national pride, motivates, inspires, and encourages emulation movements in the 2026-2030 period, including emulation to achieve the double-digit growth target, together with the whole country entering a new era of development, prosperity, civilization, prosperity, and happiness.
The Prime Minister pointed out that over the past time, the country has gone through the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, carried out emulation movements to invest in developing strategic infrastructure; eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; social security; ensuring security, order, national defense; sports, culture; preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods; promoting the development of science and technology...
Among them, there are many historical events and many cases of self-sacrifice and dedication for the people, for comrades, for the country.
Therefore, it is necessary to promptly honor and reward the heroic actions of heroic individuals and groups, and thereby honor the core values of the nation.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested to complete the dossiers of collectives and individuals as approved by the Council to submit to competent authorities for consideration; continue to review, to discover, propose rewards and honor collectives and individuals with especially outstanding achievements to propose rewards and honors./.
