Blending into that vibrant picture, women with many different professions in the coastal city are quietly contributing to preserve and embellish the image of tourism in the province to be more beautiful and friendly in the eyes of tourists.
At familiar coastal destinations of the coastal city of Quy Nhon, it is not difficult to see the image of women busy in the sun and wind. Each person has a job - some are local tour guides, some sell dried seafood with a strong taste of the sea, some are responsible for taking guests to the island or organizing parties on the sand... Although their jobs are different, they all contribute to preserving the natural beauty and creating a close, friendly atmosphere for coastal tourism.

As tour guides, many women do not simply explain but also flexibly and creatively convey local culture. They introduce rustic cuisine , tell stories about fishing villages, and organize bonding activities to make the journey more lively and intimate.
In the coastal city of Quy Nhon, Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Thuong, a freelance tour guide who has been involved in sea tours for many years, made a special impression when she introduced folk bai choi into tourism activities. Not only stopping at learning to understand, she also spent time practicing and performing, and has now become one of the young artists who regularly participate in singing and serving tourists.
“I think that tourists coming to the Central region, especially the coastal city of Quy Nhon, do not only want to swim and sightsee, but also want to feel the love of the people here. Therefore, I incorporate Bài Chòi singing into the tour guides, creating a small playground right in the middle of the journey - tourists listen, laugh, and clap their hands in response. Many people say that these moments make their trip more complete and memorable,” said Ms. Thuong.
Not only stopping at small-scale services, many women in coastal cities have boldly started businesses and invested systematically to develop local tourism. With perseverance and enthusiasm, they have created spaces imbued with the sea, serving tourists professionally while contributing to creating jobs and increasing income for local people.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Kieu, owner of Hon Kho restaurant (Quy Nhon Bac ward), is one of the pioneering women. In addition to taking visitors to the island, Ms. Kieu also organizes small parties on the beach. She directly grills seafood and vegetables so that visitors can enjoy the taste of the sea, sing, and watch the moon rise and sparkle on the sea at night.
“Visitors come here not only to eat delicious food but also to enjoy a relaxing, cozy feeling like at home. I always try to create a space for everyone to have fun, experience and bring back beautiful memories of Quy Nhon beach,” Ms. Kieu confided.

Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Huyen (Quy Nhon Bac ward) started her business from the abundant potential of her hometown when she boldly opened A Tu Hon Kho restaurant. Although she did not have much experience in the service industry, she gradually learned and adjusted her business model, combining serving fresh seafood with organizing tours to the island for swimming and coral viewing. After 4 years of effort, her restaurant has become a familiar destination, at the same time creating stable jobs for nearly 20 local workers.
“Customers who come to us often like to eat seafood, watch the sea and then take a boat to the island. We always focus on choosing fresh ingredients and serving wholeheartedly so that everyone who comes will want to come back,” Ms. Huyen shared.
