Contribute youth for community life

Some of the projects and works that contribute to ensuring social security include: giving gifts, medical examinations, and free medicine to people; giving scholarships, bicycles, and school supplies to students in difficult circumstances; building and repairing houses for households with housing difficulties, etc.

Timely care, share difficulties

In early September 2025, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union organized a Journey for the Health of the Elderly in Song Ray Commune. This activity not only contributed to welcoming the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, of Dong Nai youth, but also created an opportunity for the elderly in Song Ray Commune to have a health check-up.

Nearly 70 years old, Mr. Hua Van Thai (residing in Song Ray commune) often suffers from insomnia, fatigue and joint pain. Mr. Thai said: With his health condition, he occasionally goes to a private clinic near his home for check-ups and takes medicine in the hope of improving his health. However, after a few days of running out of medicine, his condition returns to the same level. Hearing that a medical team and doctors are coming to the commune to examine patients, he went to the clinic to find a more effective treatment method. After the examination, the doctor advised him to continue taking blood pressure medication regularly; and the joint pain is due to osteoporosis, so he needs to maintain regular exercise.

For Dieu Thi Loan and her children (living in La Nga commune), any help at this time is very valuable. Loan shared: After getting married, she stayed at home as a housewife and took care of her children. Her husband worked for hire to support the whole family. Not long ago, her husband died in an accident, leaving her with 5 young children to take care of. In difficult times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, especially the Youth Union of La Nga commune, always gave gifts to her family in the hope of sharing some of the difficulties and losses that she and her children are going through.

“I cannot rely on the help of my family and community forever. I plan to find a suitable job here to earn income to support my children's education and not let my family fall into difficult circumstances forever,” Loan confided.

According to statistics from the Provincial Youth Union, in addition to giving gifts, examining, providing medicine, and providing health advice to people, many units have also implemented a variety of activities and models to help people in difficult circumstances. Notably, the 5,000 VND Breakfast model is implemented every Monday morning by the Youth Union of An Phuoc commune, both to share with people in difficult circumstances and to raise funds to give health insurance cards to poor students. Up to now, from this model, the Youth Union of the commune has awarded 13 health insurance cards to students in difficult circumstances. These activities are vivid evidence of the role of Dong Nai youth in joining hands to care for people's lives.

Contribute to environmental protection

In addition to the projects and tasks that help youth promptly share difficulties with the people, Dong Nai Youth Union chapters at all levels also organize many activities to contribute to improving rural and urban landscapes, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change.

One of the outstanding activities of Dong Nai youth participating in environmental protection is cleaning up the environment through activities such as Green - Clean - Beautiful Saturday, Green Sunday, and painting electric poles to limit advertising and garbage.

In addition to the projects and youth activities that contribute to spreading the congress atmosphere and reaching out to the community, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Dong Nai province also carry out projects and activities related to propaganda and popularization of digital knowledge and skills for the people.

Two days before the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the Trang Dai Ward Youth Union, together with officers and soldiers of armed forces stationed in the area, and students of Dong Nai University of Technology, launched the Green - Clean - Beautiful Saturday. Accordingly, the ward's Youth Union, officers, soldiers and students cleaned up the Trang Dai Ward Cultural, Sports and Community Learning Center and some streets with a lot of garbage in the ward.

Meanwhile, the Xuan Lap Ward Youth Union chose to carry out the project of Painting new smiles, nurturing dreams at kindergartens in the ward. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Secretary of the Xuan Lap Ward Youth Union Nguyen Dan Ha said: This project has attracted many young union members from kindergarten branches and youth union members operating in the residential area to participate in painting 30 stone benches and repainting 60 play equipment for children at kindergartens in the area. Thereby, contributing to beautifying the school landscape, creating a friendly learning and playing environment for children, demonstrating the role of the Youth Union in caring for and nurturing teenagers and children.
