Parking motorbikes and bicycles along Nha Trang beach park: Adjusting daytime hours from 4am

According to the report of the City Public Service Management Board, the board has put into operation 5 bicycle parking lots and 2 car parking lots; is completing 1 more car parking lot located between Thuy Duong Restaurant and Yen Sao Park to put into operation soon. All parking lots are invested, installed with automatic fee collection management system, night lighting system, surveillance cameras, security station. Each parking lot is assigned 8 employees rotating 3 shifts/day and night. Parking service prices are publicly listed according to Decision No. 36 dated December 15, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating parking service prices for bicycles, motorbikes, and cars in the province. Specifically, during the day, motorbikes are charged 4,000 VND/vehicle/time; bicycles are 2,000 VND/vehicle/time; cars are 15,000 VND/vehicle/time. At night, motorbikes are charged 6,000 VND/vehicle/trip; bicycles are 3,000 VND/vehicle/trip; cars are 22,000 VND/vehicle/trip. The service price is both day and night, motorbikes are charged 10,000 VND/vehicle/trip; bicycles are 5,000 VND/vehicle/trip; cars are 37,000 VND/vehicle/trip. Cars that are parked monthly will be charged 450,000 VND/vehicle/month. However, local people who go swimming in the early morning and pick up their motorbikes after 6am will be charged 10,000 VND. This has caused many people to react, wanting to adjust the day and night time frames to be more reasonable (this content was reflected in the article: "Nha Trang: Will adjust the time frame for parking motorbikes and bicycles").

Day and night toll collection hours at motorbike and bicycle parking lots along the coastal park have been changed to suit people's needs.

After listening to the report and comments, Mr. Tran Minh Chien agreed to adjust the time frame for charging fees for 5 motorbike and bicycle parking lots as follows: Daytime starts from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; nighttime starts from 6:01 p.m. to 3:59 a.m. If the parking time overlaps between the night and day time frames, the highest price will be collected. If the parking time is 24 hours (daytime and nighttime), the full fee will be collected according to the regulations of 10,000 VND for motorbikes and 5,000 VND for bicycles. Mr. Tran Minh Chien requested VNPT Khanh Hoa (the service provider) to urgently program the time change as stated above.
