(HNMO) - The Steering Committee for Examinations and Admissions of Hanoi City has just issued Plan No. 01/KH-BCĐ on organizing examinations and admissions to grade 10 high schools and admissions to kindergartens, grades 1 and 6 in Hanoi City for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Steering Committee for the 2023-2024 school year examinations and admissions in Hanoi city has determined the purpose of directing to ensure enough places for students in the city; maintain and improve the quality of universaleducation , move towards universal secondary education, implement training streams after students complete the secondary school program, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education. At the same time, organize admissions according to regulations, safely, fairly, objectively, publicly, correctly assess the level of learners, and accurately reflect the quality of teaching and learning.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Hanoi will continue to implement solutions to increase enrollment scale, improve enrollment quality, improve facilities for schools, reduce the number of students outside the school district, reduce the number of students per class, increase the number of students studying 2 sessions per day; continue to use online enrollment support software throughout the city.
The City Examination and Admissions Steering Committee is responsible for directing all activities of preparation and organization of the examination and admission; directing and inspecting relevant departments, branches, sectors, organizations and educational institutions in the area to coordinate, support and ensure necessary conditions for the examination council's activities; reviewing and resolving recommendations of the examination council chairman.
Notably, the City Steering Committee for Examinations and Admissions assigned the Department of Education and Training as the standing unit, directing and inspecting the completion of teaching plans, student assessment and classification; advising the Steering Committee on organizing examinations and admissions to ensure safety, seriousness, objectivity, and convenience for candidates; ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of students' registration information; ensuring material conditions, security measures, and confidentiality at examination sites, examination boards, essay review boards, objective multiple-choice review boards, etc.
