Hanoi has an additional free electric bus route E11 to stimulate tourism during the September 2 holiday.

On the morning of August 18, Hanoi put into operation the free electric bus route E11 connecting Yen Phu - Bo Ho - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, helping people easily travel to famous tourist destinations in the city center.

Electric bus route E11, Bo Ho - Yen Phu route is free for all people from today, August 18

The free electric bus route E11 will operate on a pilot basis from now until the end of 2025, passing through many landmarks associated with Hanoi's history and culture such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hanoi's Old Quarter and central museums, connecting the past and present in every green journey of residents and tourists.

E11 is the 18th electric bus route put into operation by VinBus in Hanoi, using VinFast EB8 vehicles 100% manufactured in Vietnam. The body of the vehicle is designed with a low floor, convenient for the elderly and children, and is integrated with a feature to support the disabled to get on and off. The vehicle is equipped with many modern amenities, including an automatic stop notification system, security cameras, LED screens and free wifi, completely emission-free and noise-free.

The E11 electric bus route operates from 7am to 6pm, with a frequency of 12 minutes per trip on Saturday and Sunday; 15 minutes per trip on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 18 minutes per trip on Monday and Friday. This bus route will be free for people from now until the end of 2025.

In addition to the traffic diversion time serving the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake area, the outbound route starts from Yen Phu parking lot, passing through Yen Phu - Long Bien bus transfer point - Tran Nhat Duat - Tran Quang Khai - Trang Tien - Hang Khay - Ba Trieu - Hai Ba Trung - Tho Nhuom - Trang Thi - Dien Bien Phu - Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha - Hoang Hoa Tham - Phan Dinh Phung - Hung Vuong - Thanh Nien, then returns to Yen Phu.

During the time of organizing the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake, the route was adjusted to go through Phan Chu Trinh Street before continuing the journey to Thanh Nien Street.

The return route of the E11 electric bus passes through the following points: Yen Phu parking lot – Yen Phu – Tran Nhat Duat – turn around at the intersection of Hang Khoai street – Tran Nhat Duat – Yen Phu – Long Bien bus transfer point – Yen Phu – Thanh Nien – Thuy Khue – Mai Xuan Thuong – Hoang Hoa Tham – Ngoc Ha – Le Hong Phong – Dien Bien Phu – Nguyen Thai Hoc – Phan Boi Chau – Hai Ba Trung – Phan Chu Trinh – Ly Thai To – Ngo Quyen – Hang Voi – Hang Tre – Tran Nhat Duat – Yen Phu – Long Bien transfer point – Yen Phu – Yen Phu parking lot.

On the occasion of the country's major holidays, Hanoi also increased bus routes to serve people and tourists to the exhibition of socio-economic achievements, taking place from August 28 to September 5 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi)./.
