The top three schools with the highest cutoff scores are Chu Van An, Yen Hoa, and Le Quy Don (Ha Dong), all at 42.5. Second place goes to Thang Long High School with a cutoff score of 42.25, just 0.25 points less than Chu Van An. Third place, at 41.75 points, is shared by three schools: Kim Lien, Phan Dinh Phung, and Nguyen Gia Thieu.

Compared to last year, 7 out of 10 schools continue to be in the top 10 with the lowest entrance exam scores for 10th grade. Surprisingly, this year's top 10 includes Doan Ket High School - Hai Ba Trung District with 23.75 points.
Last year, this school had a cutoff score of 40, one of the highest in the region. The reason is that this year, only 554 students applied for the school as their first choice, while the school's enrollment quota is 675 students.
This morning, the Department of Education and Training also announced the cutoff scores for 10th grade specialized classes at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School, Nguyen Hue High School, Chu Van An High School, and Son Tay High School.
According to the plan, from July 3rd to July 9th, educational institutions will receive appeals from students; submit the appeals and the list of students appealing to the Department of Education and Training.
By July 4th at the latest, the Department of Education and Training will receive the results slips for admission to 10th grade in public high schools for the 2024-2025 school year to distribute to students.
Before 11:00 AM on July 5th, public specialized and non-specialized high schools will announce the results of the 10th grade entrance exam. From 1:30 PM on the same day, enrollment confirmation will be done online and in person.
On July 6-7, public schools continued to confirm enrollment online and in person. The Department advises that if any student voluntarily submits their admission documents, schools should facilitate their acceptance according to the guidelines.
From 1:30 PM on July 6th and 7th, financially autonomous public high schools, private high schools, and vocational education and continuing education centers will confirm enrollment online and in person; and simultaneously receive admission documents in accordance with regulations.
By July 10th at the latest, the Department of Education and Training, specialized schools, and non-specialized schools will approve supplementary admission scores (if any); with supplementary scores for specialized schools approved in the morning and supplementary scores for non-specialized schools approved in the afternoon.
From July 12-15, public schools (specialized and non-specialized) will confirm enrollment directly and accept admission applications based on the cut-off scores (if any). During this period, private schools, autonomous public schools, and vocational education and continuing education centers will confirm enrollment directly and accept supplementary admission applications (if any).
No later than July 25th, the Department of Education and Training will receive the review results from the Provincial Department of Education and Training and return to students the post-review admission results slip (if any).
From July 25-27, schools will process student records after the review of exam results (if any).
On July 29th, schools will confirm direct enrollment and accept the documents of students admitted after the review process (if any).
