The Hanoi Department of Construction has just issued a document on adjusting traffic organization on Giap Nhat Street to serve the construction of drainage repair project on Nguyen Trai Street (from Cu Loc intersection to To Lich River).

Accordingly, only one-way traffic is allowed from Nguyen Trai to Giap Nhat through the barrier. All vehicles from Giap Nhat to Nguyen Trai are prohibited from passing through the barrier.

In addition, Giap Nhat Street (from Giap Nhat - Nguyen Trai intersection to Giap Nhat - Royal City bridge intersection), for automobiles, traffic organization is adjusted for automobiles to travel in one direction from Nguyen Trai to Giap Nhat.

Vehicles traveling on Giap Nhat Street wanting to go to Nguyen Trai move in the direction: Giap Nhat - Royal City Bridge - Lang Street, Cau Moi Street - to Nguyen Trai.

For motorbikes, traffic is adjusted to allow motorbikes to travel in one direction on Giap Nhat Street from Nguyen Trai to Giap Nhat from the Giap Nhat-Nguyen Trai intersection to house numbers 43 and 45 Giap Nhat.

Phase 2, maintain the current status of the barrier at the vertical shaft construction area and adjust to expand the barrier area of ​​the escape shaft area towards the center of the intersection, the expanded barrier area (length x width) is 51m x 6.5m; the barrier area of ​​the extended section (length x width) is 16.8m x 27.1m.

In addition, a part of the sidewalk on Kim Ma Street in the Son Tay - Dao Tan direction will be cut at least 2m to widen to ensure the width of the road remains unchanged and a part of the sidewalk on the left side of alley 294 Kim Ma Street will be cut at least 4m wide to create a continuous right turn lane for vehicles from alley 294 Kim Ma Street to Kim Ma Street below.

The remaining width of Kim Ma street from Cau Giay to the city center: B=10.5m (3 lanes) as present. The direction from the city center to Cau Giay (Kim Ma street below) is 7.0m (2 lanes).

The form of fencing is fixed corrugated iron fence with a fence height of 1.8m. The construction site fence system must be sturdy, ensuring traffic safety, construction safety and must have appropriate aesthetics. At corner locations, a fence system with B40 mesh must be arranged to ensure visibility, avoid traffic conflicts and ensure traffic safety for vehicles.

Regarding the traffic organization plan, add a no stopping and parking sign on Nui Truc Street near the Swedish Embassy in the direction from Nui Truc to the intersection and add a no stopping and parking sign on Kim Ma Street from alley 290 Kim Ma to the intersection.

The Department of Construction requires that traffic controllers be deployed 24/7 at the construction site and also remote traffic controllers to warn vehicles. At the construction site, there must be adequate traffic signs (on-site and remote) and a traffic light system.
