Over the past week, Hanoi CDC has monitored the investigation and handling of dengue fever outbreaks in village 1, Bat Trang ancient village (the outbreak was identified on July 31 with 5 patients); Hiep Thuan 1, 2, Hat Mon villages (the outbreak was identified on July 23, with 15 patients); Hiep Loc 2, Hat Mon villages (the outbreak was identified on August 10, with 3 patients); residential group 5, Nghia Do (the outbreak was identified on August 4, with 2 patients); Thi Nguyen, Dan Hoa villages (the outbreak was identified on August 8, with 2 patients); Phuc Hau 2, Dong Anh villages (the outbreak was identified on July 26, with 5 patients); 388 De La Thanh, O Cho Dua (the outbreak was identified on July 30, with 6 patients, has ended operations)...

Currently, ward and commune health stations have proactively developed and implemented plans to ensure environmental sanitation and disease prevention in the area. Along with that, they have strengthened surveillance and detection of patients at decentralized health facilities, especially dengue fever, to promptly investigate and handle cases and outbreaks, preventing the disease from spreading widely.

Hanoi CDC requires units to promptly and effectively handle areas with patients and dengue fever outbreaks in areas with many patients; Regularly monitor indicators of larvae and mosquitoes transmitting dengue fever in areas with cases, old outbreaks, and high-risk areas, thereby deploying timely response activities./.
