The delegation inspected resettlement projects serving the site clearance of the North-South high-speed railway project through the province and the works and projects launched and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In Tuy Phong commune, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the resettlement area located next to the old Phong Phu Commune Cultural House with a scale of about 2.9 hectares, a total investment of 35 billion VND, and plans to arrange 60 lots to serve households subject to relocation.
This area currently has 12 households and 2 organizations subject to clearance. The work of measuring and creating cadastral maps is being carried out to transfer the documents to the Commune People's Committee to carry out compensation and land recovery procedures.

Next, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected other resettlement areas including: Resettlement area in Bac Binh commune, area of about 3.33 hectares, investment cost of 48 billion VND, arrangement of 93 lots, affecting 14 households and 1 organization.
Resettlement area in Luong Son commune, area of about 3.7 hectares, cost of 55 billion VND, arrangement of 65 lots; resettlement area in Hong Son commune, area of nearly 4.94 hectares, cost of 79 billion VND, arrangement of about 200 lots.

Binh Thuan Ward Resettlement Area (located in Ham Hiep Commune, old Ham Thuan Bac District), area of about 3 hectares in total 25 hectares of Ham Hiep resettlement area, cost of 50 billion VND, arranging 100 resettlement lots, meeting the needs of 40 relocated households, the rest is reserved.

According to the plan, Lam Dong province will deploy a total of 8 resettlement areas to serve the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis in Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Luong Son, Ham Liem, Hong Son, Ham Kiem, Tan Lap communes and Binh Thuan ward. The total area is about 27.92 hectares; the total cost is about 420 billion VND.
Communes where the project passes must speed up the construction of resettlement areas, complete related documents and procedures, and be determined to clear the land to ensure the progress of the national key project while ensuring people's lives.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested localities where the project passes through to urgently establish a Compensation, Support, Resettlement Council and a Land Valuation Council; at the same time, deploy land inventory work, review the current land use status of resettlement areas to carry out site clearance work; strengthen propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among the people.
Localities need to strictly manage land funds, prevent illegal construction in resettlement areas, and avoid complications during site clearance...
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 to urgently complete relevant procedures to invest in the construction of resettlement areas for the project, ensuring progress according to the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Construction and the Provincial People's Committee.
As planned, 7 resettlement areas in Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Luong Son, Ham Liem, Hong Son, Tan Lap and Binh Thuan ward will start construction on November 1, 2025, and be completed on March 30, 2026. The resettlement area in Ham Kiem commune will start early on August 19, 2025.
