Hanoi opens International Marathon season 4

On October 3, the opening ceremony of the 4th Hanoi International Marathon took place solemnly under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, gathering a large number of athletes, sponsors and fans.

This year, the tournament attracted more than 13,000 athletes from 51 countries and territories, 1.5 times more than last season. This is an annual sporting event symbolizing the capital, with the route passing through many heritages and historical sites such as President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Long Bien Bridge, National Assembly House..., promising to bring experiences that both challenge physical strength and honor thousand-year-old cultural values.

A highlight is the application of AI technology on the running track, helping to create personalized videos for each athlete within 24-36 hours of completion. Previously, the activity "Create AI videos - Become a Marathon 2025 ambassador" attracted more than 50,000 participants from the community.

This year, the tournament witnessed the participation of many Vietnamese athletes such as Hoang Nguyen Thanh, Hoang Thi Oanh or Nguyen Trung Cuong, along with the inspirational story of an 81-year-old athlete conquering the half marathon distance. In particular, the group "The Train Without Number" with nearly 80 runners who completed the marathon under 3 hours continued to inspire the running community.

With its large scale and strong spread, Hanoi is gradually affirming its position as an international sports and cultural destination.
