Hanoi is about to organize a dialogue to remove difficulties for craft village businesses.

In May 2024, the Hanoi People's Committee will organize a dialogue conference to remove difficulties and promote production and business for enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business households operating in craft villages in the city.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to take charge of the implementation.

The conference will have the participation of nearly 250 delegates from central ministries and branches; leaders of Hanoi City; related departments, branches and units: Agriculture and Rural Development, Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, Natural Resources and Environment, Office of the City People's Committee...

In addition, there were leaders of districts, towns and cities in Hanoi; representatives of the Hanoi Handicraft and Craft Village Association; Hanoi Association of Skilled Artisans; craft villages, craft village associations, enterprises, cooperatives, typical rural industry establishments, artisans in the city; Central and City media and press agencies participating.

The conference will focus on clarifying the current situation and orienting solutions in developing craft villages and traditional craft villages in the city in the coming time and discussing and resolving difficulties and problems that enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industry establishments encounter in the production and business process.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the city government to meet with businesses, cooperatives, rural industry establishments, artisans, representatives of craft village associations to discuss and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the production process in order to attract domestic and international investment.

Through that, we will synthesize, exchange, provide information, measures, and answer to remove difficulties and obstacles that enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industry establishments encounter in the production and business process. On that basis, we will propose policies and mechanisms to support the preservation and development of traditional craft villages in the coming time.
