Hanoi takes over the management of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village.

GD&TĐ - The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the handover of the Vietnamese Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to the plan for receiving the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the handover will be carried out through a handover document between representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People's Committee. The handover includes the organizational structure, personnel, assets, finances, records, public investment projects, and all related rights and obligations of the unit.

Before June 10, 2026, relevant agencies will coordinate to review, inventory, and compile a list for the handover of all activities of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village in their current state. At the same time, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People's Committee will finalize the transfer plan dossier and submit it to the Prime Minister for a transfer decision.

From June 10th to June 30th, 2026, Hanoi will issue a decision stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Vietnamese Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village within its authority. Simultaneously, it will proceed with the reorganization of the administrative apparatus, personnel allocation, funding, and other necessary conditions to ensure the stable and continuous operation of the unit.

The official handover ceremony between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People's Committee will be held after the Prime Minister 's decision. Matters related to the transfer of the governing body, asset reallocation, and personnel allocation will also be implemented during this period.

According to the plan, from July 1, 2026, the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village will officially operate under the management authority of the Hanoi People's Committee. After taking over, the city will review the relevant legal documents to propose amendments and additions to suit the new management model.

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports is assigned to act as the focal point for coordinating with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other relevant agencies in the reception process.
