At the request of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the Hanoi People's Committee has just decided to reorganize Chu Van An High School (Tay Ho District) into Chu Van An High School for the Gifted. The decision takes effect from January 15.
Chu Van An High School for the Gifted is a public generaleducation institution in the national education system and in the system of general schools in Hanoi.
Since the decision, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted will operate in compliance with current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for specialized schools and will be under the direct and comprehensive direction of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and other relevant agencies of Hanoi City.
Hanoi People's Committee also decided to reorganize Son Tay High School (Son Tay town) into Son Tay Specialized High School.
Son Tay High School for the Gifted is a public general education institution in the national education system and in the general school system of Hanoi. Since the decision, Son Tay High School for the Gifted will operate in compliance with the current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for specialized schools and will be under the direct and comprehensive guidance of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and other relevant agencies of Hanoi City.
Previously, Hanoi had Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted under the Department of Education and Training. With the reorganization of 2 high schools for the gifted, Hanoi has 4 high schools for the gifted under the Department of Education and Training.
