Following the directive of the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Le Anh Quan, in Document No. 13927/VP-XDCT dated December 31, 2025, regarding the policy of partially dismantling and lowering the height of the old fence around Dam Vuong Park in Do Son Ward, on the morning of January 7, 2026, the Do Son Area Project Management Board requested the construction unit to dismantle the wall surrounding the park.
This aims to ensure safety and create open spaces, improve the urban landscape of the park, and make it easier for people to access and use the park safely and conveniently.

The Dam Vuong Park construction project was approved by the People's Committee of Hai Phong City (formerly) in 2002 and subsequently adjusted once by the People's Committee of Do Son District (formerly) in Decision No. 2916/QD-UBND dated December 26, 2016, with a total investment of nearly 29 billion VND from central government budget revenue allocated to the district. The project was scheduled to be implemented from 2002 to 2017. However, due to land clearance and funding issues, the project has been left unfinished for many years, with many components deteriorating and becoming unsuitable, including the park's surrounding wall.

On July 20, 2023, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued Decision No. 2109/QD-UBND on the investment policy for the project to renovate and upgrade Dam Vuong Park based on its current state, with a total area of 82,882 m² and a total investment of over 68 billion VND. Of this, 80% is from the city budget and 20% from the Do Son district budget. The project commenced on November 23, 2024.

The People's Committee of Do Son Ward and the Do Son Area Project Management Board are actively urging the contractor to expedite construction, complete the project soon, and put the park into operation, creating a highlight in the urban space and meeting the needs and aspirations of the local people.
