Ha Tinh directs effective implementation of electricity saving

Ha Tinh Electricity Authority promotes safe, economical and efficient use of electricity.

The Provincial People's Committee requests provincial departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, cities, towns, Ha Tinh Electricity Company and related units to continue to synchronously, resolutely and effectively implement the directives in Official Dispatch No. 781/UBND-KT ₂ dated February 13, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the Prime Minister 's Directive on ensuring adequate electricity supply for production, business and people's lives during peak periods in 2025 and the period 2026 - 2030;

Strengthen close coordination with central ministries, branches, Vietnam Electricity Group and investors of hydropower and solar power plants... to plan reasonable and specific water use for agricultural production and daily life needs, prioritize reserve water sources, make maximum use of solar power sources for power generation during peak times; enhance solutions for economical and efficient use of electricity and water.

Implement effective energy saving in the area, especially in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration. Apply optimal management solutions, replace lighting with energy-saving lamps, apply automatic control technology, promote the implementation of solar energy solutions in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration.

Maximize, effectively exploit, and encourage the development of on-site wind and solar power sources according to Decree No. 57/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government stipulating the mechanism for direct electricity purchase and sale between renewable energy generators and large electricity users and Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Electricity Law on the development of renewable energy and new energy electricity.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to propagate and disseminate to all people and businesses the drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of solutions to ensure electricity supply during peak periods in 2025 and the coming time in the province in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 49/CD-TTg dated April 23, 2025.

At the same time, urge, inspect and guide departments, branches, units, localities and enterprises to implement the above contents effectively, in accordance with the actual situation in the province, meeting the electricity needs of the people; promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee related contents beyond their authority.
