On the afternoon of July 15, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution for the 2025 high school graduation exam. This is the first time the score distribution has been announced before candidates know their exam scores.

According to the statistical report and analysis of exam scores in 2025 by the Ministry of Education and Training, Ha Tinh has 3 subjects with the highest average scores in the country (including: Physics, Chemistry and Economics and Law) and is the province with the average high school graduation exam score ranked 3rd out of 34 provinces and cities (after Nghe An and Hanoi) with 6.5438 points.
Specifically, the average scores of Ha Tinh subjects are as follows:
Math: 9th highest in the country with 4,847 points

Literature: 2nd highest in the country with an average score of 7.913

Physics: 1st highest in the country with an average score of 7.366

Chemistry: 1st in the country with an average score of 6.737

Biology: 6th highest in the country with an average score of 6.185

Information Technology: 2nd highest in the country with an average score of 8.017

History: 10th highest in the country with an average score of 6.571

Geography: Not in the top 10 provinces with the highest average score but in the top 10 provinces with the most 10 points (185 10 points)

Technology - Industry: 7th highest nationwide with an average score of 6.417

Technology - Agriculture: 7th highest nationwide with an average score of 7.994

Law and Economics: 1st highest in the country with an average score of 7.996

English: 9th highest in the country with an average score of 5.319

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, over 1.12 million candidates took the math exam, of which 513 candidates scored 10 points. Meanwhile, in 2024, the number of 10 points was 0. In 2023, there were only over 200 10 points. Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, and Hung Yen are the localities with the most 10 points in math.
Literature scores are relatively stable, but there are no 10s (in 2024 there were 2 10s).
The average score for English is 5.38. There are 141 scores of 10, and 2 scores of 0. According to the representative of the Ministry of Education and Training, the beautiful score distribution of English is a surprise to the entire score distribution analysis council. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are the two localities with the most scores of 10 in English.
The average score for physics is 6.99 points. There are over 3,900 exams with a score of 10. Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nghe An, Hai Phong... are the localities with many 10 points in physics.
Chemistry , the average score is 6.06, including 610 scores of 10. Compared to 2024, the chemistry score decreased slightly. Ha Tinh, Hue, Hanoi, Ninh Binh... are localities with many scores of 10 in chemistry.
Biology, the score range is wider, the average score is 5.78 points, there are 82 candidates with 10 points. Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City... have many 10 points in Biology.
The average score for computer science is 6.78. This is the first year this is a high school graduation exam but the score is not too low. There are 60 candidates who scored 10. Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh, Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa... have many high scores in computer science.
History has not changed much in terms of scores compared to 2025. The average score for history is 6.52. There are 1,510 10-point history scores.
Geography has an average score of 6.63 points. The distribution of test scores is spread across the spectrum. There are 6,907 candidates scoring 10 points (in 2024 it was 3,175).
The average score for industrial technology is 5.79, with only 4 scores of 10. This is the first time this subject has appeared in the high school graduation exam. The average score for agricultural technology is 7.72, with 101 scores of 10. This is the subject with the highest average score among the subjects.
