Ha Tinh is looking for excellent tour guides in 2025

(Baohatinh.vn) - The 2025 Provincial Tour Guide Competition, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, aims to honor and improve the quality of the team working as tour guides at tourism units and businesses across the province.

According to Plan No. 231/KH-SVHTTDL, dated August 19, 2025 of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Tour Guide Competition 2025 is expected to be held at the end of September 2025, in Thanh Sen ward.

Participants are tour guides (HDV) who have been granted cards (international, domestic, on-site) and are working at tourist areas and destinations; travel service businesses or tour guides working freely throughout Ha Tinh province. Each business or unit sends at least 1 contestant and a maximum of 5 contestants to participate in the contest.

Tour guide of Nguyen Du relic site (Tien Dien commune) introduces to visitors about artifacts associated with the life and career of the great poet.

Participating in the contest, contestants will go through 5 rounds, including: greeting (showing appearance, introducing themselves and the local tourism industry), tour guide knowledge, explanation (contestants choose 1 topic: destination, cuisine, tourism products... to explain according to a self-prepared video ), handling situations (in the form of dramatizing hypothetical situations) and finally the talent round (singing, dancing, storytelling, MC, acting...).

The Organizing Committee will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 6 consolation prizes and other prizes to outstanding contestants. All contestants will be awarded certificates, and the first prize winner will receive a souvenir cup. After the contest, the Organizing Committee will select 3 outstanding contestants to participate in the "Tour guide profession in the extended North Central region" contest in 2025.
