
According to the resolution, the project's starting point is at km10+180 on provincial road 393, connecting with provincial road 392 (Ba Da culvert); the end point is at km20+50 on provincial road 393 (Tu O bridge), located in the communes of Doan Tung, Hong Quang, and Tan Trao (Thanh Mien).
The total length of the route is approximately 9.6 km.
The section from Ba Da Canal to the North-South arterial road intersection is a Class III road with a design speed of 80 km/h; the roadbed is 13 m wide (the carriageway is 11 m wide); and the shoulders on each side are 1 m wide (sidewalks are 1 m wide in residential areas).
The section from the North-South arterial road intersection to Tu O Bridge is a Class IV road with a design speed of 60 km/h. The roadbed width is 9.5 m, including an 8 m wide carriageway and 0.5-1 m wide shoulders on each side (1 m wide sidewalks are constructed in residential areas).
The project is managed by the Hai Duong Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board. The total investment for the project is 176 billion VND; the implementation period is 2024-2025.
The upgrading of Road 393 meets transportation needs, improves connectivity, and creates a breakthrough in the socio-economic development of Thanh Mien district. It gradually completes the transportation infrastructure according to the provincial and regional transportation development plans and orientations, forming an inter-regional transportation axis connecting Provincial Road 392, the North-South Axis Road, and District Road 195 via Tu O Bridge to Hung Yen province.
