Hai Duong, logistics center of over 1,400 billion VND in Kinh Mon

The Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to implement the project in accordance with the law. It noted that it would review the conditions for approving the investment policy, especially the investor's capacity, to ensure the project is put into operation in the second quarter of 2027.

The project of Logistics Service Center, Petroleum and Cargo Port, Petroleum Depot, Commercial Service Area in Minh Hoa Commune (Kinh Mon) is invested by Duc Duong Company Limited. The project has a total investment of more than 1,400 billion VND, using about 34.6 hectares of land in Minh Hoa Commune (Kinh Mon). The investment objective is to build a logistics service center, contributing to the development of the province's logistics services with comprehensive, high-quality services. Priority is given to serving container ports, import and export goods, agricultural products and bulk materials (coal, ore, construction materials, etc.). Logistics services will clear about 280,000 TEU of containerized goods/year, 1 million tons of bulk goods/year. The project has 3 petroleum and cargo wharves, a 48,000 ^m3 petroleum depot and a 3.3-hectare mixed commercial service area.

To implement the project, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Kinh Mon Town People's Committee to review, update, submit to competent authorities for consideration and approval to add the project construction land to the planning and land use plan. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment presides over and guides Kinh Mon Town to review, adjust and organize appraisal, submit to competent authorities for consideration of land-related issues. The Department of Industry and Trade advises the Provincial People's Committee to issue a document requesting the opinion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on determining the specific location of the petroleum depot.
