At the same time, two banks VietinBank and BIDV - Thai Binh Branch issued a tax payment guarantee of VND 217 billion, demonstrating their trust and close support for the business.
Two major banks guarantee tax debt payment of 217 billion VND for Huong Sen Group
The Tax Department of Thai Binh province has just issued a document extending the tax payment deadline for Huong Sen Group. At the same time, two banks VietinBank and BIDV - Thai Binh Branch issued a tax payment guarantee of VND 217 billion, demonstrating their trust and close support for the business.
On January 8, 2025, the Thai Binh Provincial Tax Department issued Decision No. 137/QD-CTTBI allowing Huong Sen Group to extend the payment of tax debt of VND 217 billion for 12 months.
According to the decision, Huong Sen Group (tax code 1000214733), headquartered at No. 18, Tran Thai Tong Street, Bo Xuyen Ward, Thai Binh City, Thai Binh Province, will gradually pay the tax debt monthly, from January 9, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
More specifically, two leading banks in Vietnam, the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) Thai Binh branch and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) Thai Binh branch, have issued payment guarantees for the entire amount. This is not only a financial guarantee, but also an affirmation of strong belief in the capacity and reputation of Huong Sen Group.

Over the past two decades, Huong Sen Group has not only been one of the largest state budget contributors in Thai Binh, from 260 billion to 800 billion VND per year, but also a typical example of continuous efforts. However, recently, due to the impact of difficulties in the world and domestic economies, the production and business activities of the enterprise have been greatly affected. Many domestic and foreign customers of Huong Sen Group have encountered financial difficulties, causing the enterprise to be affected. Decree 100/2019/ND-CP of the Government with strict regulations on the use of alcohol, beer and alcoholic beverages has directly reduced the consumption output of Huong Sen.
In the midst of difficulties, Huong Sen Group has continuously sought solutions, from improving production processes to expanding new markets.
