According to the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hai Phong city), as of August 20, the whole city had planted about 15,000 hectares of summer-autumn vegetables, basically meeting the production plan.

Hai Phong farmers mainly grow vegetables such as leafy vegetables (about 4,300 hectares), squash, gourd, pumpkin (about 2,300 hectares), in addition to corn, pumpkin, melon, spices...

Up to now, many areas of summer-autumn vegetables have been harvested. Products are sold well with stable prices, equivalent to the same period last year. Leafy vegetables are priced from 7,000 - 8,000 VND/kg, squash from 10,000 - 12,000 VND/kg, squash from 4,000 - 5,000 VND/kg, watermelon from 7,000 - 8,000 VND/kg...

Some areas of summer-autumn vegetables produced according to the chain, cultivated according to VietGAP process, are guaranteed from the beginning of the season with selling prices 10-20% higher than the mass price.
