This morning, May 14th, Hai Phong city held a groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony for 14 projects and works to celebrate major holidays in April and May, and the Hai Phong Red Phoenix Flower Festival 2026.

The program was held at the main venue and several satellite locations.

The main event was the inauguration ceremony of the Investment Project for the construction, restoration, and preservation of the K15 wharf historical site in Do Son ward. This historical site is associated with the Ho Chi Minh Trail on the sea and holds significant importance in educating about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and pride among the military and people of the port city.

Along with the project at K15 wharf, the city organized the groundbreaking and inauguration of many important projects and works in the fields of transportation infrastructure, industry, social welfare, energy, and urban development.

Notably, the projects include: Construction of the Cat Bi Victory Monument at Cat Bi International Airport; Investment in infrastructure development of Hoang Dieu Industrial Park; Investment, construction and operation of infrastructure in Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park Phase 1; Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park; the road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10; Van Uc 2 Bridge on the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway, along with several other industrial and social infrastructure projects.

The simultaneous commencement and inauguration of construction projects during the Red Phoenix Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2026 not only creates a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the city, but also affirms Hai Phong's determination to accelerate the progress of key projects, complete infrastructure, expand development space, improve the quality of life for its people, and create further impetus for growth in the new phase.
