On August 19, a representative of the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) said that to serve the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), the unit has a traffic diversion plan.
Accordingly, the time frame for restricting road vehicles operating in the direction of Hanoi is: From 3:00 p.m. on August 21 to 5:00 a.m. on August 22, from 3:00 p.m. on August 24 to 5:00 a.m. on August 25, from 3:00 p.m. on August 27 to 5:00 a.m. on August 28, from 4:00 p.m. on August 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 30, and from 4:00 p.m. on September 1 to 5:00 p.m. on September 2.

Restricted vehicles include: trucks of 10 tons or more, passenger cars of 45 seats or more (except passenger cars on fixed routes, buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident response vehicles, vehicles with badges serving celebrations and priority vehicles on duty).
Traffic police will restrict the above vehicles from circulating on the Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway, from Thuong Tin intersection (Km 192+300, Hong Van commune, Hanoi); Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway: from Yen My intersection (Km 21+500).
Along with that are the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressways: from Van Xuan intersection (intersection with National Highway 3 at Km40+700) to the intersection with National Highway 18 (Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province); Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway: from Binh Xuyen - IC3 intersection (CT05 intersection with Provincial Road 310B in Binh Xuyen commune, Phu Tho province).
For national highways: National Highway 1A, from the intersection of Phan Trong Tue (Provincial Road 70A) - Ngoc Hoi (National Highway 1A); National Highway 1A (Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway): section from the intersection with Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (Km 152+600 National Highway 1A).
National Highway 2, from the intersection of National Highway 2 - Vo Van Kiet Street.
National Highway 3, from the Cavalry Police Regiment (Ba Xuyen Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) → the intersection of Cach Mang Thang Tam Street and National Highway 3 - Nam Tien intersection (from Km 46+650 to Km 41+900) → Tran Nguyen Han Street (Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) - to Van Xuan intersection.
National Highway 5, from Cau Chui intersection (Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Van Cu).
National Highway 6, from the intersection with Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh road (Km 65+100 National Highway 6).
National Highway 21A, from the intersection with National Highway 32 to Cho Ben intersection (intersection of National Highway 21A with Ho Chi Minh Road).
National Highway 18, from the intersection with Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province).
